Generative AI refers to developing algorithms and models that can produce new content, including text, images, and audio, based on patterns and relationships learned from existing datasets. This type of AI has the potential to transform the way individuals, organisations, governments and society approach data analysis and decision-making. Currently, ChatGPT is the most well-known generative AI model developed by OpenAI that has been trained on big datasets to answer questions in a human-like way. As this emerging technology continues to evolve, it is imperative to consider the possible implications of generative AI on human decision-making.

In collaboration with Cork University Business School, IFIP WG 8.3 on Decision Support are pleased to invite you to our virtual seminar exploring the theme ChatGPT and Generative AI: The Future of Human Decision Making.
